School Schedule

Start Dates

Classes begin the first Tuesday of the following months;  January, February, March, April, May, June (School Corporation Vocational Program), September, October, and December.  The school reserves the right to change the starting months and dates as it becomes necessary.

School Hours/Schedules/Course Format

The first 3 months (Phase I, II, and III) are spent learning the basic fundamentals of all facets of cosmetology and to prepare students to perform services on clients.  Our professional staff provides step by step instruction in technical skills.  Classes include lecture, demonstration, and practical application, enhanced by use of textbooks, visual aids, printed illustrations, and evaluations.  A rotation of Phases I, II, & III is as follows:

4 weeks     Hair Sculpture
3 weeks     Hair Color
2 weeks     Permanent Waving
2 weeks     Wet Sets
1 week      Manicuring and Pedicuring
1 week      Facials and Make-up, hair removal, shampooing, scalp treatment.

Phase I, II, & III Training Requirements;

Exams are given at the conclusion of each Phase of training to determine if the student has a full understanding of that phase.

Students taking any written final exam and fails, will be eligible to take another final written exam in 2 weeks, which allows for concentrated study.  If he/she fails written retake, student will be required to retake class at the next scheduled time class is offered.
