Graduation Requirements

All theory and practical exams must have a grade of a 75% and an overall average of 80%.  For successful completion of the Cosmetology Program, a student must;

•   Complete the Indiana State Board Progress Book.
    Meet all financial responsibilities due to the Academy
    Complete 1500 hours of training.

•   Successfully pass both written and practical finals with an 80% or better.

Licensing Requirements

To apply for Indiana State Licensing Exams, a student must;

•   Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. (on file at the Academy)
    Be 18 years of age at the time of State Board Exam.
    Have completed 1500 hours and all required projects in an approved school.

•   Have a 75% in each required theory and practical examination.

•   Have a grade point of 80% in both written and practical HBA final exams.

•   Complete an application for examination.

•   Submit the $20 application fee.

Upon completion of the State Board examination, a copy of these results is needed to receive a diploma from Harrold Beauty Academy. Our current completion rates are as follows;
